Between land and water, Saint-Eusèbe dominates the Canal du Centre, the Bourbince, the Berthaud pond and its reserve. In 1316, the village took the name of Saint-Eusèbe-des-Bois and a Romanesque church was built in the village; a cemetery built in a “circulation” completes it. Local particularity: Montchanin-le-haut is indeed a commune of Saint-Eusèbe and not of Montchanin!
