Enjoy unrivalled panoramic views...
To experience breathtaking views, nothing beats reaching a high spot! Journey up the hill of Mont-Saint-Vincent, a picturesque village overlooking the entire region.

... From one of the highlights of the region
Admire all of the region greatest landscapes as you take in a stunning 360˚ view from the top of the hill of the village of Mont-Saint-Vincent, the second highest spot of the department of Saône-et-Loire, perched at 601 metres high.
From the orientation table on the former site of a mill, you can see as far as the Morvan, the Monts of Beaujolais, the Charolais meadows and the nearby towns of Montceau and Le Creusot. On a clear day and if the weather allows it, you can even spot the famous Mont-Blanc mountain peak in the distance.

A picturesque medieval village
Mont-Saint-Vincent is also the name of the village built on the hill. With its former castle, its Romanesque church (Cluniac site), its small museum, its charming narrow streets boasting old stone houses, the village is a true delight to wander around if you are seeking peace and serenity. Lately, a few talented artists have settled in the village and brought it back to life: nacre-art, pottery etc…
A highly recommended visit for the different perspective this village offers!
