Harbours and short-stay visitor moorings

Mooring facilities for boating holidays.

There are plenty of moorings all along the waterway for boaters travelling on the Canal du Centre and wishing to stop in the Creusot Montceau area with their boat. Stop when and where you like at a marina or in the open countryside.

A modern fully serviced marina

Entirely renovated, the quaint marina of Montceau-les-Mines is a modern facility with 37 moorings. Open all year round, yachtsmen enjoy a wide range of services (showers and toilets with secure access, electricity and drinking water connections, waste water drainage...). Located in the town centre, the marina offers direct access to shops, restaurants and services available in town. In addition, the marina can accommodate boats in winter or for long-term moorings.

Short-stay mooring spots

For a shorter stay or if you require less services, enjoy mooring facilities on the river frontage of Blanzy, Génelard and Saint-Julien-sur-Dheune. Each is equipped with electricity and drinking water, however, it is not possible to dispose of waste water. For basic necessities (bread, groceries...), shops are within walking distance in Blanzy and Génelard. You will also find restaurants in Blanzy or Saint-Julien.
